So let's see...
I moved to Salt Spring Island last December, where I was living on an eight acre, quasi-dilapidated former sheep farm on a part of the island known as Walker's Hook. In October I moved further down the road, into a great little cottage on half an acre, with a wood burning stove and separate building for recording studio. It's a great place to meditate and get deeper into my practice.
Mostly I've been busy working on a short story about a lion tamer and doing recording on the weekends for a demo album. (If you want to hear the works as I drop the tracks, subscribe to my mailing list.)
I started this here blog in August and have been enjoying the hell out of writing something new each week. I'll be rebooting my novel soon, have a pretty good first draft in pocket, and have also been simultaneously creating courseware around that whole process. (If you're writing a novel, you need all the help you can get, in all aspects of your life.)
My nascent collage career is in gear, and I had my first works exhibited at a juried exhibition in town. Oh yeah, and I recently found a log out back on the wood pile that looks a lot like a pig if you ask me, and which shows a lot of promise as a future project.
How about you? What are you doing now?
